A Dollar to Die For is a book by Brian Fox and the second in a series of five books surrounding the man with no name and his adventures.
Maximilian, a puppet emperor of Napoleon III, has been shot. Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars failed to buy his life. But where there's money, there's trouble, and Blondie is in enough with three gunmen after the cash as well: Count de Cabronet, white Apache Pinky Roebuck... and Tuco, no longer stranded in Sad Hill Cemetery, though with no gold either. As a result, Blondie is once again forced into a deadly friendship with the bandit as well as these two other wanted men.
