Julio (or Julián) is the father of Jesus and the husband of Marisol. Ramón Rojo accused him of cheating in cards and took his wife, Marisol, as a hostage. When Joe first arrives, he witnesses Jesus try to sneak in and see his mother, but is chased off by Chico, who then beats up Julio.

Later, when Marisol is being traded for Antonio Baxter, she is able to be reunited with her family, but only for a moment. Joe later frees Marisol and reunites her with her husband and child. He gives them money and sends them out of town.
